Adjunct Faculty - Tracy P. Robinson, Psy.D.

Dr. Robison is the former Vice President of Academic Affairs and currently is Adjunct Professor at the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Schaumburg Campus. Previous appointments have included Assistant Professor of Counseling and Human Services at Roosevelt University and an Adjunct Professor at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Robinson received his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan and his BSW at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Dr. Robinson also has advanced training in clinical hypnosis, cognitive-behavior therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy and Adlerian psychology. Dr. Robinson is active in several national and local professional organizations. He is the Membership Chair of American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and Membership Chair of the Chicago Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

In addition, to his academic appointment he maintains an active private practice in Orland Park, Illinois and is on Staff at Provena Mercy Center in Aurora, Illinois. Dr. Robinson's clinical and research interests include clinical hypnosis, dynamic schema-focused cognitive therapy, psychotherapy integration, behavioral medicine, clinical assessment and the assessment and treatment of anger.
