Welcome to Argosy Student Council!

This site is designed to let you know who your Student Council representatives are, and what they are doing for you.  It will also provide you with information about some of the services that are available to you.  Please feel free to contact a Student Council member for more information. 

Overview of general Student Council functions:

• Enhance the learning environment and professional development of students
• Serve as role-models for the student body      
• Help students resolve issues, find out answers to questions, assimilate into the program, etc
• Work to bridge any gaps between students and faculty
• Oversee social functions (fall and spring socials) and use of student activity funds (e.g., conference funds, see below)

One of the major goals for the Student Council is to increase student involvement in community events and volunteer activities, student council, and professional organizations.  In order to be successful at this, we need your help and participation!  Students are welcome to attend any regularly scheduled Student Council meetings in order to provide input, feedback, raise questions or concerns, as well as to keep in touch with what is going on within the Argosy community.  We also need the help of students in order to provide information about and to promote volunteer opportunities.  So don't be shy, get involved!
